Super Polar Plunge
It's been over three weeks after our Super Polar Plunge when we jumped into frigid Lake Michigan 24 times in 24 hrs. A lot of my friends and family got sick, but I did not. This just proves that exposure to cold shock "does not" necessarily mean that a person will get sick. I'm very energized by this event. Still, I would not recommend it to anyone to do such thing.

2012 Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics
This is the time of the year when some people enjoy freezing their
butts for the benefit of others. I'm one of those who like to challenge
mother nature and her elements :)
This year, again, together with Jerry, my brother in law, we decided to enjoy a nice swim in our beautiful Lake Michigan to raise the awareness and money for the great cause, Special Olympics. With comfortable temperatures of 28F, winds of up to 30 mph, and wind chills down to 14F, but water always above 32F we have little room to complain! Check out more HERE
