Renting a houseboat in Kentucky on
Lake Cumberland was one of the best trips of the season. We left Chicago at 3AM on Thursday and got to our destination at 2PM the next day. Of course driving with a group of 15 people does not always speed things up - frequent stops, etc. Nevertheless, the drive is very straight and easy. We got this pimped out boat from the
State Dock and set the engines full ahead. One would wonder how the hell do you fit 17 people (we had two more coming the next day) on such boat - no problem, the boat is super spacious and everyone was able to find a cozy corner. We spent four days on these waters enjoying the outdoors by hiking, swimming, partying, having bonfires, and all the other good stuff. Everyone loved the boat and the place so much that most likely this will become our annual Memorial Day tradition.
